ITS all-staff town hall: The power of human connection

ITS all-staff town hall meeting

The fall ITS all-staff town hall is taking place in person on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022 at the Hart House Great Hall located on 7 Hart House Circle, Toronto. ITS staff are expected to work on campus that day and be available to attend the event.

Registration

RSVP by Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, by selecting “accept” on the Outlook event invitation. If you have any dietary restrictions, or did not receive your invitation, email the details to its.eda@utoronto.ca.

9:30 – 10:00 a.m.: Registration and coffee break/networking

10:00 – 10:05 a.m.: Opening remarks from Bo Wandschneider, CIO, U of T

10:05 – 10:55 a.m.: Presentation, Q&A session and breakout activity with Pete Bombaci, Founder and Executive Director, The GenWell Project, and Dr. Steve Joordens, Professor of Psychology, UTSC

10:55 – 11:15 a.m.: Professional development updates and closing remarks from Laurie Harrison, Director, Digital Learning Innovation, ITS

Topic of discussion: The power of human connection beyond the crisis

This ITS all-staff town hall event will feature an interactive session with The GenWell Project, a Canadian-led grassroots Global Human Connection Movement whose mission is to make the world a happier and healthier place through empowering and catalyzing people with face-to-face social connection. In this session, the GenWell team will be discussing “the power of human connection beyond the crisis”.
