Congratulations to the Air Travel Emissions Mitigation Initiative (ATEMI) project team for receiving CUCCIO’s Innovation Award!
The impact of this work is demonstrated by the fact that ATEMI is estimated to mitigate approximately 50,000 metric tonnes of scope 3 emissions, which equals almost 50 per cent of the St. George campus’ combined scope 1 and scope 2 emissions. By using existing technology to implement the program, the ATEMI project team has shown that this can be replicated across other schools.
To celebrate their important achievement, all the project team members are invited to an awards luncheon.
