Connect and contribute to the IT@UofT 2025 conference!

University of Toronto staff and faculty are invited to get involved in the IT@UofT 2025 conference taking place on May 6-7 on St. George campus. This event offers a range of exciting opportunities to connect with colleagues, contribute to the IT@UofT community and play a pivotal role in making the conference a success.
Programming committee
Programming committee members are responsible for tasks including:
- Reviewing and voting on session proposal submissions
- Providing input on conference streams
- Acting as conference champions and spreading the word about the event
Programming committee members will meet approximately five times between February and April for one-hour meetings and will be required to allocate additional time to review and vote on session proposal submissions.
Sponsorship committee
Sponsorship committee members are responsible for tasks including:
- Identifying and engaging potential sponsors
- Sponsorship outreach
- Serving as a point of contact for sponsors during the event
Sponsorship committee members will meet approximately four times between February and April for one-hour meetings and will be required to allocate additional time to complete the above tasks.
Day-of volunteers
Day-of volunteers are responsible for on-site tasks during the conference including:
- Signing in attendees and answering questions at the registration/information desk
- Helping attendees navigate the campus/venues as a wayfinder
- Moderating sessions and panel discussions
A one-hour information session will be held in April to explain day-of tasks in more detail and answer any questions.
