IT@UofT 2024 conference

Presented by ITS, the IT@UofT conference is a forum for U of T staff and faculty to share ideas, learn about IT innovations and make lasting connections with colleagues from across the tri-campus community.
The conference is co-chaired by Bo Wandschneider, Chief Information Officer, U of T and Omar Malik, Director, Technology Services, Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, U of T.
The 30+ breakout sessions will centre around this year’s theme, “Better Together”, and align with the three streams: AI, collaboration and teamwork and information security. Proposal submissions will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on March 31.
In addition to the breakout sessions from U of T community members, we have an excellent line-up of keynote and featured speakers:
- Mark Daley, Chief AI Officer, Western University
- Vickery Bowles, City Librarian, Toronto Public Library (TPL)
- Steve Till-Rogers, Director, Digital Strategy & Chief Information Officer, TPL
- Terry Tschirhart, Toronto Region Cyber Unit, Strategic Partnership & Outreach, Canadian Security Intelligence Service
