• Applying vision-language models for optical character recognition (OCR) and large language models for metadata extraction
• Moving from exploratory Jupyter Notebook work to a production-ready, distributed graphics processing unit (GPU) pipeline
• Leveraging distributed inference pipeline on supercomputer GPU clusters to reduce processing time from nearly a year to just a few weeks
• Solving real-world challenges such as model selection, workflow modularity and infrastructure scaling
