Investigating - File Requests are not sending out notification emails to recipients, both external and email addresses. This effects all SharePoint sites. This may be a global error, as other tenants are experiencing the same issue.

As a temporary workaround, use the Copy link feature and manually compose and send an email when using File Requests.

We're are working with MS Support to resolve the issue.

You may contact the Joint Operations Group (JOG) using the e-mail link above or by calling 416-978-4621. The JOG is staffed Monday to Friday, 7am-3:15pm.

We recommend that you sign up to receive push notifications of service outages. Click on the "Subscribe to Updates" button at the top of this page and select the method(s) by which you want to receive system status updates. For e-mail notifications, we recommend using a non-UofT email address so that you will still receive notifications in the event there is an outage that prevents access to university email services.

ROSI Database Quarterly Maintenance Jun 6, 2025 17:00-21:00 EDT

Please note that we will need to take ROSI and most associated student information systems offline on Friday, June 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. to perform quarterly maintenance on the database. We will return the systems to service sooner if the work is completed earlier than 9 p.m.

The following systems will be affected:

There will be scheduled fiber maintenance between June 7, 2025 at 2200h and June 8, 2025 at 0200h.

Scheduled LISTSERV Upgrade Service Interruption - June 11, 2025 (2:00 p.m.) to June 12, 2025 (5:00 p.m.) Jun 11, 2025 14:00 - Jun 12, 2025 17:00 EDT

The LISTSERV service will undergo a scheduled outage to migrate the LISTSERV server from AlmaLinux OS to Windows Server 2022. At the same time, the LISTSERV application will be upgraded from version 16.0 to 17.5. This change is necessary to streamline system maintenance and ensure the secure operation of the LISTSERV service.

Service outage window:
- Start time: June 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
- End time: June 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

Scheduled maintenance for DocViewer within Quercus Jun 12, 2025 12:30-14:30 EDT

A maintenance event for the DocViewer tool within Quercus has been scheduled for June 12, 2025, from 12:30 AM to 2:30 AM EDT. During the maintenance window, the DocViewer tool may be unavailable preventing the ability to annotate submitted assignments.

Data Centre (DCB) Electrical Maintenance Jun 21, 2025 07:00 - Jun 22, 2025 07:00 EDT

Please be advised that maintenance work will be carried out in our Data Centre DCB to replace an electrical panel from Saturday, June 21 at 07:00h to 19:00h, with a possible extension to 07:00h on Sunday June 22. During this period, the facility will operate entirely on generator power to ensure continued service.

We do not anticipate any service disruptions, but our team will be monitoring systems closely throughout the maintenance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Resolved - Microsoft has resolved the issue and restored the connection to their SIP Gateway for Microsoft Teams Phone. Some users may still experience intermittent issues as traffic rebalancing continues.

Identified - From further review of the issue, we've received confirmation from Microsoft that a recent service improvement deployment is leading to a reduction in their service performance capability, this issue may affect any user of legacy SIP Gateway devices (Physical Teams SIP Phone) based in North America.

As per Microsoft, we anticipate this issue will be mitigated by Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM EDT

Investigating - We are currently investigating reports of certain MS Teams Polycom phone sets not functioning properly. Affected devices display messages such as "URL calling is disabled" or "Error: Line unregistered."

At this time, the phone component within the Teams desktop and mobile apps remains unaffected.

The Telecom Team is currently working with the Networking Team and O365 Support to identify the root cause of the issue. We will provide updates here as soon as more information becomes available.

Update - LISTSERV emails are starting to flow again.

Certain email providers may have temporarily blocked/throttled email from LISTSERV.
We will leave the WEB block in place over the weekend and will continue to monitor this service.

In the process of quarantining troublesome emails, it is possible that some valid ones may also have been temporarily held.
