The ITS System Status Page provides an overview of current service status messages and scheduled maintenance for major University of Toronto systems and services. You may contact the Joint Operations Group (JOG) using the e-mail link above or by calling 416-978-4621. The JOG is staffed Monday to Friday, 7am-3:15pm.

Please scroll down to see details of upcoming scheduled maintenance as well as historical information on previous incidents.

We recommend that you sign up to receive push notifications of service outages. Click on the "Subscribe to Updates" button at the top of this page and select the method(s) by which you want to receive system status updates. For e-mail notifications, we recommend using a non-UofT email address so that you will still receive notifications in the event there is an outage that prevents access to university email services.

Bluecat DDI Maintenance - Aug 8th 0730-0800 Aug 8, 2025 07:30-08:00 EDT

Please be advised that maintenance is scheduled for the BlueCat DDI Systems on Friday, August 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

BlueCat Address Manager (Proteus) will be intermittently unavailable during this maintenance window. However, no service interruptions are expected for DNS or DHCP.

U of T wireless certificate update — Aug. 25 - 0800 Aug 25, 2025 08:00-08:30 EDT

Please be advised that the current University of Toronto wireless authentication server's Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate will expire on Sept. 9, 2025 at 7:59:59 p.m. EDT. To address this, Information Technology Services will be installing a new certificate on Monday, Aug. 25, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. EDT.

What does this mean for wireless users?

Once the update is complete, wireless users may be prompted to accept or verify the new security certificate the first time they attempt to reconnect to the UofT or eduroam networks. Once accepted, the wireless device will save the new certificate and connect automatically thereafter.

If your device or devices that you manage require manual certificate installation, the new certificate can be downloaded from https://wireless.utoronto.ca/connect/. Please refer to the section, Additional Resources / Certificates’.

Users that require additional support should contact their local IT support or help desk staff. For a list of contacts, visit https://its.utoronto.ca/contact/.

IT and helpdesk administrators with questions should submit a ticket through Enterprise Service Centre or send an email to en.help@utoronto.ca. For administrative and other questions, please feel free to contact me directly.

Students:
You will be restricted from accessing some ACORN functions while the system is in Peak Load Mode. If you are enrolling on this day, please be patient and only press “enrol” once – your request will be completed and you will receive a confirmation. For enrolment questions, contact your registrar for support.

Staff Members:
Please avoid running any ROSI-related processes that might place any additional burden on the system.

Processes to avoid include:
