What to Expect After the UTmail+ Upgrade

UTmail+ service has been successfully upgraded.  All current students with e-mails ending with and alumni with e-mails ending with can access their e-mail by usual means using their UTORid and password.

Following the October 11th upgrade, users will see some minor visual differences, and other changes may affect how you use your account:

  • SkyDrive access will change. SkyDrive will become a personal service separate from UofT’s e-mail service and you will no longer access SkyDrive through your UTmail+ account. See our article about Accessing your SkyDrive account before and after the upgrade
  • Instant Messaging service will no longer be available. A replacement service will become available after the upgrade. 
  • In the webmail interface, the U of T logo will not appear at the top and U of T menu links will no longer be available.
