Remembering strong and unique passwords for your many online accounts can be a challenge. Fortunately password managers can provide assistance. They can increase account security by identifying weak or duplicate passwords, and by generating complex, uncrackable passwords. These are saved in a vault accessible only by a master password, which naturally must be long, complex and memorizable.

PC Mag has compiled a list of the best free password managers for this year. They reviewed eight password management tools that integrate with your web browsers and mobile devices, and came out with some clear competitors:
