ITS enjoys a frightfully fun Halloween 2018

Published on: November 26, 2018

The enterprise applications and solutions integration (EASI) Halloween potluck was an eclectic blast from the past. From the “king of rock ‘n’ roll” himself to medieval warriors and an ’80s aerobics instructor, several intriguing characters made an appearance.

The crowd of about 60 enjoyed a potluck on the ninth floor, which also included a game of piñata, followed by lunch and the announcement of the winners of the “scariest pet photo” and “spookiest cubicle” contests.

Winner of the “scariest pet photo” competition was the tequila-swigging canine Nero (owner: Rose Gullia of business operations and administration). Nero won points for excellent props and fronting the perfect demeanour for a pooch in a sombrero and shades.

The spook-tactular office displays included EASI fifth floor winner Kaelyn Lindquist’s “halloween fun” themed desk, which included lights, mariachi skeletons, a reptile and spiders. The highlight was a mushy brain in a bowl that elicited a response from an “interactive” zombie on Kaelyn’s computer screen when touched.

On the ninth floor, education and awareness team members Ann-Marie Colacino and Monika Burman’s forensic scene showcased the aftermath of a crime committed by the “nefarious crew” (phish, virus, malware and hacker).
