UTORID: All faculty, staff and student members of the University community have an established identity with University systems.  UTORid, combined with your password, is your key to many University services. Students, faculty, and staff receive a letter with their offer / acceptance package that has directions for getting a TCard. When you visit the TCard office, you will be given your UTORid and a Secret Activation Key (SAK) to register for your UTORid which becomes your login credentials for a variety of services at the University.

For visitors to the University, short and long term guest UTORids are available.
UTORVPN: UTORvpn is the institutional Virtual Private Network (VPN) of the University of Toronto. It provides staff, faculty and graduate students secure access to UofT's internal network from off campus. This service is intended to be used for work and study related purposes. When connected, all of your internet traffic will be routed through UofT's network.

The VPN Service is also available for mobile devices (Android and iOS).
UTORAUTH: UTORauth is the University of Toronto's central Identity Management service.  ID data is collected from a variety of sources throughout the university for the purpose of issuing an authentication credential (the UTORid), and an associated set of authorizations.  This service is provided to members of the University community (students, staff, faculty), and some temporary people such as faculty visitors and contractors.
MICROSOFT CAMPUS AGREEMENT: University of Toronto has negotiated a Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (ESS) Program at no charge for all faculty and staff. The Campus Agreement provides CORE CAL licenses, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Forefront Endpoint protection and Microsoft Office Professional for Windows or Macintosh for installation on University of Toronto owned equipment.  For personally owned machines, University of Toronto faculty and staff members can take advantage of the Home Use Program (HUP) and purchase, for a nominal cost, the Microsoft Office Professional (Windows or Mac) from Microsoft directly.
